Hi, my name is Dave Pearce and I am a new recruit to the Board of Trustees at Next Step Trust.

I'm really pleased to be invited to join the Board, and looking forward to meeting everyone involved with the Trust, in particular the Next Steppers over the coming months. I've been amazed by the commitment and dedication that everyone that I have met so far gives to making sure that Next Step is a really special place to be a part of, and I hope that I can play my own small part in helping to continue that, particularly with the changes taking place, with the opening of the centre at Clay House.

I work at Pennine Housing 2000, helping to improve the way that it runs it's business and finding new ways of providing better and more efficient services for the people who live in one of our homes. I live locally in Halifax with my wife and son Jacob who attends Copley School, although I am originally from Castleford, so Jacob is usually the odd one out in the school playground on dress down days wearing his Cas Tigers shirt!
