Our new vehicle has arrived!

Due to our ever-increasing numbers and the popularity of activities that we access away from the Centre, we are always working hard to raise funds to purchase additional vehicles to enable Next Steppers to continue widening their horizons.

Thanks to all your amazing fund-raising efforts we've been able to purchase an extra vehicle to add to our existing small fleet which already comprises a large Ford Transit minibus and a seven seater Vauxhall Zafira car. We've managed to raise the required money in less than half the time we'd originally expected which is fantastic news!

We decided that given the low mileage that we drive, we should look for a high-quality used vehicle, and we've found something ideally suited to our requirements - a silver 2007 Renault Master with low mileage.

It is a high roof conversion and has a RICON tail-lift fitted. There are three seats at the front, two over the wheel-arches, and one other that has an independent heater fitted underneath so that the rear of the vehicle can be warmed quickly. We've had extra tracking added and converted the two fixed wheel-arch seats to use the tracking, so that we can change the configuration easily. We can transport 6 people plus two wheelchairs.

Once again, a very big thank you for all your efforts. The amount of enthusiasm, commitment and hard work has truly been rewarded. Here's to raising even more funds in the near future. Well done everybody.
