I attended The Next Step Trust as a part of my police probationary period.

As a student Police Constable, I am required to engage with members of the public on community placements.

The time I have spent at The Trust I have thoroughly enjoyed. All of the staff and members of the organisation are lovely people, who have each made me feel extremely welcome.

Whilst on placement I have been involved in group activities, such as, cooking, arts and crafts, bowling and music sessions, all of which have been a pleasure to be a part of.

All staff and members of The Trust are a real credit and always make the place a pleasant atmosphere for their visitors.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at The Next Step Trust for assisting me in completion of my year 2 probation. Without places like Next Step, it would prove difficult for student officers to enhance their communication skills, which is one of the key requirements of a police officer.

I would like to end by wishing you the best of luck in the future.

I shall pop in and see you again, very soon, in and among patrol.
